Katie Arthur is an author and illustrator of books for young readers.

Her debut picture book, Our Woolly Bear, is out now. More books are on the way in the near-ish future. Katie holds an MA in English Literature & Creative Writing from Concordia University and is also a graduate of the Humber School for Writers. Her work has received support from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council of Canada, and her adult fiction has been longlisted twice for the CBC Short Story Prize.

Born and raised in the suburbs of Southern Ontario, Katie now lives with her family on the rocky shores of Northeastern Nova Scotia. When she’s not sitting at a desk, she likes growing leafy vegetables, controlling the music on car rides, and making comics with her daughters.
